Measles Outbreak Notice
OSPI is aware of the measles outbreak and investigation in multiple counties. As of
February
6, 2019, there have been
51 confirmed cases. The Washington State Department of Health Incident Management Team
is working with the affected counties. School district nurses and health staff are monitoring students for any symptoms of measles and will report any suspected cases to their local health jurisdiction. If you have questions, please contact OSPI¡¯s Health Services Supervisor, Dr. Nicole Klein.
